Rock and Roll Hall of Fame:
What are Jan Weener and the rest of the Hall of Fame voters thinking by inducting the RAP Band Run DMC? This is the Rock Hall not the RAP or Hip Hop Hall. There are too many deserving Rock and Roll artists that still have not been inducted to the Rock Hall to start letting in RAP groups. What next Roy Clark? Don't get me wrong Roy Clark is one of the best guitar pickers to ever pick up a guitar but he should not be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Motown is not voting in Rappers so why is RRHF? I don't get it. I would list the outcast of deserving artist but the list would be so long that it would fill this whole site. As a member of the Rock Hall and a patron I am very concerned by the watering down of the field of choice for inductees. The Rock Hall should have a higher standard than just any body who sells CD's. There is the genre of Rock and Roll and there is the genre of RAP do not confuse the two. Let the RAP stars start their own Hall of Fame they do not belong on the Lake Erie waterfront unless they are in a seperate buiding.

i think it is the cross over appeal and a desire to reach out. how do you feel about the motown artists and hank william and johnny cash being in?
